Project Details

GFBS served as an external auditor to Women Legal Aid Centre, a Non Governmental Organization established to promote access to justice and advocate for gender responsive policies for women and children.

The Centre is incorporated in Tanzania under Companies Act 2002 as a private, voluntary Non-Governmental, non partisan and non-profit making organization.

WLAC activities are supported by various donors such as The Norwegian Church Aid, Baring Foundation through Womankind, Ford Foundation, Foundation for Civil Society, Comic Relief through Oxfam Ireland, UN Women, UNICEF, LSF, ICRW and TALA.
