Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant and has audit experience of over 8 years having been working with Ernst & Young up to the level of auditor. He is a holder of Master Degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Dar es Salaam. He has managed audit engagements for local and international clients. His audit client base covered a range of industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, donor fund companies, media, hospitality, telecommunications and construction and public entities. He participated as Audit manager (Field work quality assurance) of the Foundation for Civil Society assignment covered 124 donor funded companies throughout the country in year 2009/2010. He also worked with PSI Tanzania in finance department.
As a Partner his duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Plan and assign tasks to team members.
- Ensure work done according to plan.
- Review work done by junior staff and reports.
- Ensure compliance of all standards during field work.
- Assist engagement partner in planning for the assignment.
- Coordinate, supervise and control the field work execution.
- Communicate with clients’ director of finance in resolving audit issues as they arise.
- Preparation of periodical management accounts and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and analyze financial data for budget estimates and financial planning including monitoring budgeted against actual expenditure and recommend the necessary measures to the management
- Liaise with banks, external auditors, and tax authorities to resolve various issues.
- Preparation of financial / management account as required by the clients
- Preparation of Draft reports.
