The National Construction Council (‘the Council’) is a Government institution established under the National Construction Council Act, No. 20 of 1979 (Chapter 162, Revised Edition 2008). The Council effectively started its operations on the 17th August, 1981. This assignment is performed on behalf of The Controller and Auditor General (CAG).
